Fiberlock products typically fall into one of three categories: clean, eradicate, or coat. These three steps are the key to the complete removal of hazardous material such as lead, asbestos, or mold. Cleaning products are the first step to safely remove major grime. After this step, the surface might look clean, but with toxic materials, all traces of spores or particulate must be completely destroyed. This is the second step, eradication. Fiberlock has products specially formulated to destroy mold spores. You now have a clean and disinfected surface, but a third step must be taken to prevent future mold growth. Fiberlock has a number of coatings formulated to completely prevent future mold growth.

Cleaning Products:
If your grime is severe, you should remove and safely dispose of the major pieces with a scraping tool as a first step. After that, use Fiberlock Advanced Peroxide Cleaner to clean the moldy surface before eradication. It is specially formulated for water damage and mold projects to aggressively remove stains, penetrate deeply, and foam and lift spores and mold particles to the surface. Fiberlock IAQ 2500 is a general purpose non acid cleaner with disinfectant, fungicide, and deodorizer for non-porous surfaces most often used as preventive maintanence to stop toxic microorganisms from taking hold.

Eradication Products:
Fiberlock Shockwave is Fiberlock's most in-demand product for its mold eradication prowess. It is EPA registered for use in sewage and black water clean-up. It can be used as a cleaner as well as an eradicator. It deeply disinfects and destroys mold and mildew fungus spores, leaving the surface free from contamination. Fiberlock IAQ 2000 has all of the mold-killing power of Shockwave plus virucidal and bactericidal properties. Fiberlock Pirahna 4 is a solvent based gel that strips and removes layers of paint, including lead paint. It is ideal for use on historical structures because it does not require neutralization afterwards and will not discolor the wood.

Coating Products:
Mold remediation: Fiberlock Aftershock is designed to be used in conjunction with Shockwave (you might have guessed this by the name) for a complete mold removal and prevention system. It is a permenant coating that will trap and kill remaining mold as well as prevent future mold from occuring. IAQ 6000, 6100 are tintable acrylic water based coatings (in white and in clear, respectively) that are EPA certified to resist mold growth on the dry coating surface. IAQ 9000 is a waterproofing coating designed to stop water penetration through walls, reducing the likelihood of mold growth. It also has a fungicide to prevent mold from growing on the surface of the coating.

Asbestos abatement: Fiberlock ABC Asbestos Binding Compound is an asbestos encapsulant that meets EPA requirements. It can also be dilusted to be used as a wetting agent or misted to be used as a post removal lockdown coating. If you prefer a specially formulated lockdown coat, try Fiberlock Fiberset PM, a post removal spray applied after asbestos is removed to trap and seal all remaining asbestos fibers on the surface, ensuring final air clearance. For a specially formulated asbestos wetting agent, use Fiberlock Penewet. It makes crumbly ACM safe to handle by penetrating and wetting it, which prevents the fibers from stirring up into the air. If you are encapsulating asbestos that is on pipe lagging, boiler jackets, breaching, or HVAC systems, consider using the Lag Kloth and Lag Kote II asbestos encapsulation system. Lag Kloth is a lagging repair blanket that will repair any rips or tears in the existing area. Once that is accomplished, Lag Kote II is dipped in water and applied for federally approved ACM encapsulation.

Lead containment: Fiberlock LBC Lead Barrier Compound is an encapsulant designed to form a barrier between lead-based paint and environment. This is recognized as a permanent lead paint encapsulation solution in all 50 states. Fiberlock Lead Shield is also a lead coating, but it is not meant to be used as an encapsulant. Rather, Lead Shield is used after lead paint is stripped and removed in order to firmly lockdown and seal in remaining particles. Another option for cleaning up lead dust particles after stripping is Fiberlock Lead Dust Wipes, a trisodium phosophate cleaner that meets federal guidelines for lead dust removal.
